Shut it down. Shut it all down. The peace and quite, not to mention the reduction in treason committed by people in Washington DC would be a welcome change.

What would a free man (or woman) have to fear from an open door? Were you afraid when you left home or excited? How long did that last? Cut the apron strings and step out on your own.
