Local Dallas station reporting the Fireman was shot "multiple" times and is in surgery.

There may be others injured and police have no idea where the shooter is.

Still on news live here in Dallas with no updates. Police on foot search because suspect believed to be in the neighborhood (SE Dallas). Officer shot is at Baylor in surgery. People on area told to stay inside but there are no reports of any additional gunfire
