Very much a Ray Charles fan.

I recently found Abner Jay on Youtube. This guy, out of Fitzgerald GA, played a 5 string banjo, harmonica, and pedal drums and cymbals.

Saw AJ about 5 times Summer of 1973, in Houston. Bought 3 of his records on the Brandi label.

Try his St. James Infirmary Blues dear God the guy could sing. Drank a few beers and smoked w/him after the show one night...

Really a talent!

Glad you enjoyed it. Abner would play all the instruments at the same time. What you heard on the recordings not enhanced or tracked over. The greatest talent I ever saw...

Ray Charles though.... I Can't Stop Loving You. Somewhere I have The Incredible Genius Of album, maybe still have the With Strings album.
