Dying in dreams/universe is simulation?
Don't really buy into the idea that the universe is a simulation but it got me thinking. Anyone ever had a dream where they died and it went black?

I actually died a couple of years ago.
Everything went black.
It was peaceful, immersive. Sublime.

I have had one of these dreams.. many many years ago. The dream was wartime. I died in wartime. Is this at all similar to anyone else?

I've died multiple times in dreams. As soon as I let go/surrender, everything goes dark and I'm enveloped in pure peace.

Re: Dying in dreams/universe is simulation?
i had the same feeling of letting go as well. did anyone else die in a time of war? my own dream was probably more than 20 years ago now, and war or world events were the last thing on my mind at the time. seemed more like a very dirty long fought civil war.. very long time going as most things were destroyed. didnt see anyone i would describe as being foreign.. no troops either.. just gangs of rebels and whatnot

Re: Dying in dreams/universe is simulation?
About 30 + years ago I dreamt I was in a ship in space, looking out at earth. Suddenly a huge triangle type craft became visible from behind. Some one said, "They shouldn't be here!". Then a swarm of smaller ships began streaming from the center of the larger one, headed towards us and someone yelled, "Beta fighters!" And we blew up. I woke up with my heart racing, totally shocked at being alive and completely disorientated. Took me a good five minutes or more to figure out where I was and who I was.
