Armchair General The Only 5-star General on GLP User ID: 74827256 United States 05/14/2017 03:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are still people on Windows XP? I thought they stopped supporting XP, too. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71689621 Exactly, this is why issuing a patch for XP is 'highly unusual'... -Armchair General- "No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation." -General of the Army Douglas MacArthur "I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major General and during that period, I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for big business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism." -Major General Smedley D. Butler, USMC - 1933 Pronouns: Sir/General/That Bastard |

Or, more precisely, did not do. For example when autoruns was made, did you promote that dude to head of design? No, you dumbfucks paid him off and gave him a small chest of specialness, while you ran the company off a cliff, danconia style. There are many ways to stop this shit from infecting an XP machine. And also, some scientists say, there might even be a way to have android be secure as well. I suppose we won't know until the day of truth. |

Maybe XP can't be monitored like new operating systems. So all this is a big false flag to get ms spy ware into millions of XP machines. |

It also fucks up anyone who had pirated software and had windows update turned off. |

I can't imagine that Microsoft suddenly started giving a shit. This makes no sense, what do you think this whole WannaCry thing is about? Windows XP being TOO secure that it has a massive vulnerability that takes down countless systems across the globe? So TPTB install a patch to uh.. make it easier to hack? What are you smoking. |

You think these people who got their hard drives encrypted at getting their data back? Lol no. Most people in China and Russia were many of the infections are had pirated XP and got blown the fk out. Microsoft does probably want new Windows 10 Contracts from the NHS. If anything WannaCry is pro Microsoft as you say but the patch being some kind of stealth Windows Malware Monitoring would be at best a bonus action. The real damage was that big organizations got wrecked. |

If I restart, the updates will be installed. I don't know much, that's why I ask. Anyone else? |
