Ransomware explanation for Dummies | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 74900278 Brazil 05/17/2017 08:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 1) the useless NSA (government agency) exploits software vulnerabilities and keeps them secret to use as they please (remembering that this is all kept at the expense of taxes, taken by force of all) 2) NSA exploits leak (showing that the most naive are those who rely on governments - remember that the same governments that hack / invade / spy on everything and everyone, would interpret the same act as a "crime" if committed by the people :) 3) someone leverages and creates a ransomware, encrypting data from vulnerable computers and asking for a ransom in Bitcoin Conclusion of the media: Bitcoin's fault (which becomes a convenient scapegoat)! It's like blaming the dollar or euro because someone kidnapped a family member and asked for the ransom in state currency instead of blaming the kidnapper ... Ps: Conspiracy theories say that the NSA itself engineered it all. I would not be surprised if it is true ... and still there are those who believe that the state is there to guarantee the peace and security of all |
