When do you suggest it broke? I agree, but seems like a gradual realization than a sudden event. I'm not sure I can pinpoint when it happened.

It was sudden - completely sudden. That's the craziest part about it. All of it coming out of nowhere, effectively breaking reality. The most that I can say is that it depended on your own experience of it, to maintain my integrity.

Ok. I sort of exist in the eye of the storm a bit. I don't consume media, I live in the country, and don't generally go among the populace to interact with 'normal' folks. Over the last year my tinnitus has gotten very bad, is one thing I can point to. Right now it is screaming in the middle of my head, very annoying. People I know seem to be generally more irritated, confused, and divided.
