Bammy promised to do that by just getting rid of the fraud that goes on.
What did Bammy do?
Bammy did nothing.

I would like to see all the disability claims reduced to 1/3 of current levels.

I would just like to see them do away with disability on minor children. Disability should be for people who are of adult age who cannot work - not for all the Asperger's/autistic, ADHD, behaviorally disordered, etc. children in the country. All this does is give the parents an incentive to keep their kids at home once they hit adulthood rather than working/training for work because the parents want to keep pocketing the monthly check.

These kids need LIFE LONG CARE! its not feasible for one parent to stay at home anymore on ONE INCOME. are YOU going to pay their medical bills, their daycare or their provide for their clothes / necessities PERSONALLY?!

That responsibility falls on the parents, NOT the taxpayer.

It needs to stop, now.

This has got to be the most hair-raising part of this thread.

So now we pick on the parents of autistic kids, we need to blame them too I guess so that we don't have to feel guilty for not helping those people out either.

That one got me too.
My eldest grandchild is autistic.
My son(his dad) works a really well paying job, but the therapy and medical care for an autistic child is very expensive and insurance, we found out, will not cover most of it.
He couldn't get assistance at all because my son earned too much, but not enough to cover the bills and all the care my grandson needed.
And yes, we helped where we could.
My daughter-in-law stayed home with him and his 2 younger siblings because daycare is too expensive and all the grandparents work.

Tennessee is also the worst place to find any help in this situation. They tried for years. They moved to Kentucky which is much better.
Anyway, he was able to have some therapy, but not enough and the medical was always taken care of.

Finally, it all fell apart and he ended up in a mental hospital at the age of 8. That was a couple of months ago.

He's non-verbal because of the lack of therapy and angry and frustrated because he can't speak and suffers some level of pain constantly because of gut issues typical in autistic children.

Now, after he was released from the hospital, he's got appointments with therapists and autism specialists, but it kills me that he had to go to mental hospital to get anything done after years of doctors doing nothing.

Those not in this situation have no understanding of the costs, the inability to get help and insurance covering nothing.

Right, because deceasing the amount of money stolen from us and given to people who actually enslave us makes us less free.

How did you receive your traumatic brain injury?

I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.

Return to the food grown by US farmers being distributed. Eliminate food stamps 100%. USDA paid farmers to grow and produce as much as possible to:

1. Distribute excess to the poor.
2. Sell excess to feed the world.
3. Have a safety net of food in case of a national emergency (the FedGov used to be a prepper)

Seems like a bit much, never used either in my life before but thought it seemed like quite a bit. Should just crack down on the idiots buying all the junk food imo. Thoughts?

Then they can get their disability when they become adults. All parents are responsible for medical bills, daycare, clothes and necessities - why are disabled kids different? If they need medical help (or helpers), they should continue to get that. But parents don't need a paycheck for their disabled kids. I know a family who has five LD & ADHD kids (natural - not adopted), getting checks for each one (boy do they know how to work the system)! I don't know what each check is, but if it is average (about $1200), they are raking in $6k off the government for minor disabilities.
