From about 48 million in 2013 "down" to 46 million in 2016 is still nearly 14 million more than it was before he took office.

With more than half of all babies being born on Medicaid this is great news.

Make local governments pick up the tab and just watch the reigns tighten as taxpayers begin to balk at having their taxes raised to pay for irresponsible dead beat parents who refuse to pay for their birthing mania.

I am sick to death of these dead beat leeches.

Food stamp and Medicaid enrollees skyrocketed during Obama's reign. I don't know the exact figures on Medicaid, but it was massively expanded through Obamacare. Food stamps doubled under Obama because not only did his economy suck ass, but his administration specifically targeted it for expansion and heavily advertised it like a business trying to grow. Having to rely on government to eat use to be an embarrassing shame to anyone who legitimately needed that much help. Obama made it sound like a healthy natural lifestyle that everyone should participate in.

This commercial is from 2012. The food stamp program doubled because they wanted it too.

Yes, questioning the integrity of a news source who is known to slant reports in a biased and even untruthful way does make the message less true.

Rejecting information without evaluating just means you are ignoring and maintaining a personal bias. Which means a person limits their awareness. I don't see that as a good thing. But, I don't care one way or the other. We are responsible for ourselves. Staying unaware when one should be aware just means that person will suffer.

Trumpís plans to cut food stamps could hit his supporters hardest

President Trumpís anticipated cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, better known as food stamps, will likely be felt most in regions of the country with chronic high rates of unemployment ó from the rural Southeast to aging manufacturing towns to Indian reservations.

People in those regions are temporarily exempt from national work requirements for the SNAP program, because there are not enough jobs there for everyone who wants one.

But there is growing anticipation that the budget to be unveiled on Tuesday could incorporate proposals drafted by the conservative Heritage Foundation that would eliminate or curtail the unemployment-rate waivers. That means the federal government could cut off assistance to unemployed adults who live in areas where few jobs are available.

this is not good at all

tax breaks for rich people and taking away from the poor

so, trump is robbing from the poor and average earners to give to the rich

anyone expected different from a republican???

greed is real, or else we wldnt hv the wage and income gaps we currently hv

racism is also real, which is why some rich white folks did wverything they cld do to fuck over people from getting help while obama was potus

....like the banks who were supposed to work with people facing hardship on their mortgages, but purposely set up every fuxking conceivable roadblock they cld as well as offering crazy ass mortgages no risk averse person wld consider

a mortgage isnt exactly where one wants to engage in risk / speculation re: interest rates....jmho ....esp when one has known people to get majorly fucked from ballons in the past (bc interest rates rose vs. falling / staying the same)

That's common for all news sources nowadays. Some media sources retract more than others, however. But, understanding the bias of the publisher helps one to weigh the information and find the most important parts to research to get to the truth of the matter.

Basically, I am saying there are no news media companies that do not harbor a bias. There are only a handful of true, ethical, journalists. Those journalists get published time to time by these same media companies. So we must work a little harder to find the nuggets of truth.
