Japan recently made Bitcoin a legal currency and form of payment.
You can purchase airline tickets with bitcoin on one of the Japanese carriers.
You can link Bitcoin to a Visa debit card and purchase just about anything Visa can purchase.
Bitcoin is being mined by Fidelity investments, google it.
Hedge funds are offering Bitcoin and crypto funds.
IRA's and 401k's can be started and rolled into Bitcoin IRA's.
The Chinese and South Koreans are buying it hand over fist!

The Indian government is asking it's public to basically vote on accepting Bitcoin as a currency, especially after banning the higher denomination Indian Fiat currency and reaking havoc on it's citizens.

Do you really think Fiat currencies will be safe when the econony fails?
Look at What is happening in Venezuela and Brazil, would they have been better of if they had converted to bitcoin a couple of years ago?

Cryptocurrency should be part of your portfoilio in addition to Gold, Silver in physical forms, maybe some mining stocks as well.

Everyday more and more merchants are accepting Bitcoin and other crypto's as payment for goods and services.

Bill Gates recently endorsed ETH as a great platform.

I think I also heard Warren Buffet invest 30 Billion in Cryptos.

Look at the growing market cap of cryptos as well, I believe Bitcoin alone is over 40 Billion in capitalization.

It is a good store of value.

People say criminals and evil people use crypto currencies. What about Fiat money? Don't evil people exist all around the world and in different countries using different fiat currency??

With solar power and a self healing mesh network, BTC can survive a 10 year blackout (the blockchain would fracture to locally isolated groups, but the currency would still work).

Believe me, no fiat currency can survive a centrally disrupting attack.

Bitecoin is the biggest scam since scratch off lottery tickets.

While I agree, that this is true, (1) it isn't the case yet, and (2) there are many competing currencies and always will be, so whether the on-world-currency is one blockchain or another is irrelevant.

What will be required is an embeddable computer in every person's physical body. This is true whether the currency is fiat or crypto.
