Mainly ETH or coins that can be bought/sold with both ETH or BTC. Took a bit of a hit but not too bad. But now I am not locked in either way. It was retarded, and I did it. I literally made PIVX what it is. I got up to 21 BTC worth of it. There are articles after article written about what made it stand out so much from the others, all these analysts spewing nonsense nonsense masternode nonsense... roflmfao.... No dumbasses. It was just a dumbfuck kid with some money and time on his hands. I even emailed them (devs) to explain what had happened. Never heard back. One of the reasons why I am stepping in this market is the volatility, because volatility equals opportunity. The fact that this is an emerging market which will expand for years to come makes HODLing appear attractive, and it most certainly can be. Some coins are worth locking up in cold storage for years to come. If I look at my own portfolio, my 10K is locked up in coins I bought near the highest highs, and while they are all in the red now, they have all been in the green. Not only am I in the red, the current downtrend has wiped out a large percentage of unrealized profits of people who have been HODLing over the past months. This begs the question: If you HODL because you are thinking long term, and ignore corrections like we are seeing right now, how will you recognize to get out of the market prior to a real crash. Let's say you bought DigiByte in May at 100 Satoshi, which reached 2600 Satoshi in the beginning of June, you have to question HODLing seeing the price back at 600 Satoshi today. That is over 300% of unrealized profits, just gone. There has to be a trigger which makes you take profit on coins you HODL. And this takes us back to money management.
