Be still My children; Be still

Be still and know that I am God

Be still in the midst of your loss and disappointment

Be still when you’re unemployed and it seems you’re unable to find a new job

Be still when your finances are gone and you don’t know what to do

Be still when you lose your car and have no way to buy another

Be still when others misunderstand and are insensitive to your problems

Be still when people criticize you

Be still and know that I AM God – trust Me.

Be still and do not allow desperation to overtake you

Be still and learn to deny yourself, deny your emotions

Be still when it looks as if no one can help you – your help is in your God

I am still God – Jehovah Jireh

Be still when people blame you for all their problems

Be still when you feel abandoned and alone

Be still and know that I am God – God of the fatherless, God of the widows, God of the lonely and forsaken

Be still and know that I am the Deliverer

Be still and know that I am the Healer

I Am the Restorer. I am the Provider

Be still and see the salvation of the Lord

Be still when you have no strength when you are too weary to go on

Be still and know that I AM your strength

Be still and know that I carry you in my strong right arm

I’m calling you to come away

Come away from all your problems

Come away with Me and be still

Be still and know

I am bigger than any problem you face. I AM.

Be still and wait with Me, wait on Me to reveal My plan

Be still and know - renewal and restoration are coming

Be still – do not be anxious – be still

Be still – do not worry and fret – be still

Be still and know that I am God of all and I am God in all

Be still and be renewed in spirit, mind and body

Be still and allow the River of Life to flow in and over you, to fill up the empty dry places in your life

Even as rain falling on dry places and creating rivers and lakes

Be still – lay aside your timetable, your expectations, and your disappointment

Be still and know – know that I am God.

Be still.



Psalm 46:10-11 (AMP) Let be and be still, and know – recognize and understand – that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge [our high tower and stronghold]. Selah {pause and calmly think of that]!



Psalm 37: Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness – that which is not upright, nor in right standing with God. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust (lean on, rely on and be confident) in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord – roll and repose (each care of) your load on Him; trust (lean on, rely on be confident) also in Him, and He will bring it to pass. And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light and your justice and right as (the shining sun of) the noonday.

Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him, and patiently stay yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself; it tends only to evil-doing. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord, [in the end] shall inherit the earth."
