Usually whats happens is this gets to court as a formality. Police and prosecutors have no intention of having a person like this convicted. They even support the defendant and recommend charges be dismissed.

When that happens and case is dismissed, the paperwork completed the man who saved those 2 babies lives should be given a special award, a medal for doing such a brave thing.
