All the Military personnel I've met and partied with in the past year have had nothing but praise for President Trump, and would probably slap the shit out of you for inferring that, and that's just the female personal. The males would put you in the hospital. This is the first President that increased their funding and given them a substantial pay increase in 30+ years.

Strange, because I'm in the Army and I've only ever heard good things about him from other soldiers, in fact I rarely hear anything negative about the man other than the occasional complaint of something he said or did that we thought he shouldn't do as the President. Trump is loved by most of the military. I think you are looking too deep into nothing, maybe you should look at it more in terms of what branch statistically likes him less but keep in mind that regardless of a soldiers opinion an order is an order and the President has the highest power in that regard.

It definitely hasn't gotten any better this week.

San Antonio does have a lot of military, but a fraction of places like Fayetteville.

The people who were replaced and railed into retirement or worse were Colonels and above, which make policy in the US military.


One of the most famous, to be retired early was an Admiral who launched fighters to help support Bengazzi embassy against the President's orders.

Another was General McCrystal who was retired early for saying Afghanistan was a hopeless cause unless tens of thousands of more troops were deployed.

Those born in that time, were 3 to 6 years old when the war on terror started.

Also, culturally, many of them faced serious inculcation during their school years, and were taught that enabling was more important then independence and freedom of choice.
