If they have to change their constitution and go by our rules, which could be the right thing for them. Puerto Rico has been in all the war since becoming a province of the US, now, why do we even have a province? They like a lot of state have hit hard times, so, they deserve to get the statehood if they want it. It makes sense and it could help their economy they prices for people would have to come down but they would have more visitors who don't have to be rich to either live there or work there.

Vacations destinations, I have heard it is a beautiful place. They should have that right, if they have to go to war, they should be a state!

Puerto Rico, has be big possibilities for investment, and the weather is nice, I am sure they could become a good state.

English should be 1st language in all schools, 80% speak spanish.

This is true I was there last year and was told by a few people that they don't want entitlements and the rest of the free stuff because it would ruin PR and destroy their children's future. The people I talked to were proud of that. Of course I'm sure there are others who want the freebies though.
