The home site has to be prepared to state drainage requirements prior to installation and then the home is transported via set up company and installed on site. Han Solo |

What to do? Lots of the manu homes are setting on a couple of acres and have all utilities installed. I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you. Slake Blake |

Quoting: Pilgrim001 The problem is actually the FHA loan department standards they require steps that go way above and beyond industry standards and state codes. If you can find financial aid at a decent APR with someone else I wouldn't even consider FHA. Han Solo |

They need to, according to the state they live in, check with the Attorney Generals office about a consumer complaint or with the state SAA or state administrative agency who regulate the HUD laws as a lieason there could possibly be an open class action law suit that they can claim restitution. I'll admit it's nice to see there is some acknowledgement of the issue and that it may have been rectified. I explored building one in my earlier years and was scared off. I'll give them another look in the future if I need a vacation home or something, thanks for the psa. |
