I was born in Albury Australia in 1979. The war happened when I was 10 years old. We escaped most of it, just a few outback spy bases were nuked, and the Russians set off an EMP nuke in space over Australia. Most world trade stopped, but we had stockpiles of food so we could ride it out. Even when the refugees started pouring in. But then they started coming armed.

The Japanese were the worst. They organised pirate fleets and raided as far as Indonesia and India, loading up on rice and livestock for their starving cold people back home. The worst the Nuke Winter got, the further they raided, until they were hitting our own coastline.

It was constant war, constant struggle. In 1994 American military refugees launched an attempted coup, backed up by uprisings in the refugee camps. The feral government pretty much collapsed under the strain. I was 16 I joined the Riverina Militia and went north. The radiation was bad enough by then above the equator that the Japs were trying to set up a colony in Queensland. For the next 20 years I fought them, until it was obvious to even me that it was futile. The entire country was fuedalised, between Australian, American, Japanese and European armies. It was the same from South America to Africa, it was a new colonial period. I quit the miltia and moved back home to Albury, which was under the protection of the Melbourne Clique. I started life new as a farmer.

The biggest tank armies the world had ever seen, millions of men on either side. When the blockade began he pushed the American army into East Germany, the Soviets pushed back. Two giant war machines crashing into each other head-on. Then it kicked off everywhere.

That was a brave mission.

In 2030 I was approached by an old friend from the Militia. He had long ago switched sides and was running security for the Japs. He told me he was working for a Jap industrialist who had a plan to heal the world, and he offered me a job. I didn't really care about fixing the world, but I hate farming. I took him up pn it and he introduced me to the team.

An experimental American-made stasis pod. Part of their time travel program. The most advanced pre-war technology. We were able to get one working. It was already over 40 years derelict by then.

One micro black hole formed the Tipler cylinder and curved the light cones of Titor and his vehicle backward while the gravity of the second micro black hole pulled Titor and his vehicle back through time until the device was shut off.

I am not a scientist, and the scientists who build the machine were long dead, just mummified bodies in an airtight underground complex in Dead America. Perhaps in this world they are still alive. Perhaps the machine still exists were I saw it, under the Mojave Desert.

This still blows me away. I know for a fact that the Lindbergh baby was never found, in my history. To the point that there were evwn a few charletons that claimes they were the lost baby to try and get any leftover Lindbergh forrune. The favt that now not only was the baby found, but the killer was caught and identified. Subsequently being killed for this crime. Like I said, blows me away!

you went back in time to 1932. you were in a different timeline when you got there, or didn't you know that. then when you came back you were in a different time line again. you are not where you started your journey from. that's the problem with time travel. if it wasn't for that, everyone would be going back. and since you are coming back to a timeline where you didn't start from, you now created supposedly created a paradox. the you from the timeline you arrived at is already there so you never really materialize there because there can't be two you's in the same timeline at the same time. nature will not allow that.
