From a Catholic catechism:
"Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?"
"Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her - she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority."8

This is straight out of the horse's mouth, as it were; here the papacy is saying that sunday worship is the symbol (mark) of her authority over God.
Quoting: cecropia so you are saying it is wrong to go to church on sunday? No, I'm saying it's a sin to trample on God's Holy day, and that Sunday is not the Sabbath. It's wrong to keep Sunday because it's not the day God made Holy and blessed. Simply put Sunday is not the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment. so what qualifies trampling the sabbath? If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: (Isaiah 58.13) Trampling the fallen Jerusalem = eating the cursed fruit.
