Calling GLP web developers/aspiring ... Who is interested in developing a web service for small businesses?
I have been planning and developing a web service that helps small business owners get their company online in a way that makes more sense than available options.

For small business owners, the current available options for getting online are:

1. Not connected to their business needs and/or not related to their offering (why is everything a blog? CMS? I just want to promote my sale.)

2. Too complicated (Wordpress is not a good solution for a small business owner [what is a template and how do I make it look the way I want?])

3. Too expensive (Wordpress "developer"? SEO? Snake oil.)

I want to 'happy-meal' these things for small business owners and small business startups. And I have ideas that will take that happy-meal idea beyond that. I want to 'happy-meal' enterprise grade for them and their customers. Appointments, billing/invoicing, you name it. And I have a plan to do it.

Here's why I'm looking for someone to collaborate with me on this.

1. It's bigger than me.
2. It's a big idea and a market disrupter.
3. It adopts, adapts and challenges the existing methods.
4. Improvements to mobile technology change the ways 'democratizing' this web service for both smb's and their customers can occur.

Perhaps this post was one-starred by a wordpress "designer" because I intend to put him/her out of a job.

You need to list your list of requirements, a time frame, and a budget.

Do you have customers willing to spend money to use this product?

How are you going to make money from it?

YES. Every small business owner that can't figure out how to effectively and cheaply get their product or service online because the methods that exist don't work for them, which is many and most.

Small business friendly per/month fee. Not to mention a percentage of the revenue from a community marketplace for tools and plugins that help the industry verticals small business owners need.
