No tanks, planes or other modern weapons of war, but horseback, cavalry and the ancient form of war.
I believe the bible and I believe in the literal translation, so I believe this is the truth, the last battle will be fought the way ancient wars were fought.
Does this point to some massive EMP event, or is the last battle fought after all the other modern weapons of war have been destroyed, all the people who knew how to build them killed or compromised?
Who knows, but the last battle will be fought the old way, on horseback and with foot infantry and auxiliaries.
Quite fascinating to think about.

Jesus said his words were about spirit and eternal life, and spirit only. So why would he reveal Earthly events to John. When he stated that his Kingdom was not of this Earth, so seek another, and overcome this one. Overcome hints towards a struggle of some kind, and it is an internal one of the spirit. But be of good cheer

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
So seek the Word of God, that he reveals to people who seek after righteousness.
The Soul of good and evil, that cup of abominations, that leaves the spirit desolate, free of the understanding of it's own nature. The mind, veiled from the truth of the gospel of Christ. That soul, a device of Satan's task is to hold spirits in this creation, so it will make people focus on only Earthly matters and events.
