Quoting: PIR The last Jubilee began June 7th of 1967 which was also the retaking of Jerusalem. June 7th 1967 of the Gregorian calendar was the 28th day of the 3rd month (Sivan) of the biblical calendar based upon the moons and seasons. 50 biblical years later which is today, the 28th day of the 3rd month, year 5777 begins the year of Jubilee. Heads up...things are about to get interesting on may fronts. Your math is wrong. 1 Biblical Year = 360 Days 50 Biblical Years = 18,000 Days June 7, 1967 + 18,000 Days = Saturday, September 17, 2016 If you add another Biblical Year of 360 Days That comes to: Tuesday, September 12, 2017 Can you show how your math arrived at today? You are incorrect because the Jubilee is set aside and sanctified and therefore NOT the 1st year of the next count. So the next count after the 1967 Jubilee began on 1968. Therefore today...IS the 50th year. This is why no one else has even talked about this. "You are incorrect because the Jubilee is set aside and sanctified and therefore NOT the 1st year of the next count. So the next count after the 1967 Jubilee began on 1968. Therefore today...IS the 50th year." I still do not understand. The last Jubilee began in the spring of 1967 (June 7th Gregorian) the day that Israel retook Jerusalem. So that Jubilee lasted 1 year and ended in the spring of 1968 THEN the count began again...so from the spring of 1968 + 49 years = today...June 23rd 2017. The Year of Jubilee 8And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 9Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. 10And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. 11A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. 12For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. |
