I was upset when Trump launched the cruise missiles because he was either fooled into it or pushed into it by the neocons. That was my first moment of thinking that Trump had lost control of some of the government or never had it.

Keep in mind the military and alphabet soups are all for-profit organizations, and Trump (or any American presidents) can't print money. This is the root cause of all problems in the past century in America.
