Super Nintendo makes a comeback
I am a 90's Kid, so this move by Nintendo is basically the best thing to happen in the gaming world for me. What is so good about the Super Nintendo? Mainly the memories and nostalgia of the old games. There is something simple and refreshing about going back to this platform, even if retro gaming wasn't in, I'd still be on board with getting my hands on old gaming systems, but what's better is this new release of the old platform The Nintendo Classic Mini.

It has an affordable price, plus a usb, and hdmi connection. It comes with 2 controllers packaged already, and has inbuilt 21 of the greatest games. Another suprise here is the release of the game Star Fox 2, a game never previously released for sale on the old platform that was completed at the time.

you do know that you can emulate any game console on a modern computer all from atari to ps2 without buying anything right?

If you have an expensive gaming laptop or desktop, yes.

The Sega Megadrive is better. Faster Motorola, higher resolution, crispier YM2612 sound output, better games overall. (What do you have on the SNES? The best are Super Mario World, Super Bomberman, Super Mario Kart, Illusion of Gaia and ..? While we have Gynoug, M.U.S.H.A., Fatal Fury 1 & 2, superior 24-Mbit Street Fighter 2' and 40-Mbit SSF2, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Spinball, Story of Thor, Landstalker, Streets of Rage 1 & 2, ToeJam & Earl, Strider, Rocket Knight Adventures, Columns, superior Mortal Kombat 3, ...).

Sega ... c'est plus fort que toi.

You've never launched an emulator gave you? For the SMD use Kega Fusion, written by a former developer for the SMD, Steve Snake.

No I haven't, but the computer I am on now, including my desktop, is not good enough to even handle game play. If you are a serious gamer, you have a proper gaming computer for that, then of course you don't need to buy the gaming systems, but if you have kids it still wouldn't be the worse idea to collect these gaming systems, and it's easier than letting them borrow your expensive computer when you can just plug it in to a tv or monitor as a stand alone piece of hardware.
