All these millennials making 18+/hr straight out of college is about to see their wages drop.

I don't mean "the draft" like a military draft. There's some congressmen at a hotel drafting it right now with corporations to lower these larger wages to the new guys on the block as they calling them.

Well I can say this much because of certainty...they're working to apply a lot of medicare/medicaid type taxes to them. Much more so then they're paying now. I have a federal private investigator I know that I been chatting with since thursday...talking about a flat percentage of their paychecks going to pay for medicare/medicaid...13.5% and 15% are the two numbers being exchanged. That percentage will proportionally go down as you age with retirement age suppose to still pay in but at 5%.

I guess I shouldn't say "wages." I should day take home pay.

The problem is the retired boomers with the 50K+ a year pensions for doing nothing. There isn't enough money to go around. This cannot go on.

Why are you getting so worked up over 18 bucks an hour? It's not a lot of money and where I live the cheapest studio apartment would eat up over half of that. If I told some hunnies I only made 18 bucks an hour, it would only get the female's juices flowing in a city like Cleveland, where it would probably be a big deal. Where I live, the only people that make as little as 18 bucks an hour are probably the people working at Mickey D's.

Hmmm.. I'm 32, worked full time since I was 20 and I make 14.25... Soooo,who's getting 18?! And yeah where I live we HAVE to live with multiple roommates or in vans. Average rent around here is a thousand a month for a one bedroom dump in ghetto. Why is it such a crazy idea to pay people a living wage?
