I ate a green olive with garlic a few minutes before it happened, but didn't have anything to drink. I'm very serious about this happening. I have no idea if it was a physical health experience or a spiritual experience. I really wish I knew. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14381141 You might want to see a doctor. Whoa! Oh gosh I hope not. I may give the doctors office a call just to share and see what they say. Thank you. |

You don't have the pain commonly associated with migrane, but you get all the optical tomfuckery that you describe. First time it happened to me I thought I was having flashback as portrayed in some shite like Go Ask Alice or Dragnet. you might want to see a doctor. Or you can sit back and think that the shift is coming and you are special. It's up to you. |

Lasted about 3 hrs. Slowly started coming back and hasn't happened again. Strangest thing ever happened to my sight. Afterwards I ran to the college med facility and explained it to the nurse. Sure I was dying, she ran to get the doctor. Have never had such speedy service. After breathlessly recounting symptoms to the doc, he asked if anyone in my family had migraines. I never thought to ask my mom how she knew she was getting one. She just popped some pills and made the room dark and sent of off to play quietly, elsewhere. |

I actually was starting to think I was moving up to some next new level of awareness. Especially since I didn't even believe that could happen. Guess I better go cal the doc and make sure nothing's wrong with my head or eyes. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3924266 Look up Migraine with aura for images of what it can be like. Never had any pain before, during, or after. A sudden shower of what appear to be hundreds or thousands of little black dots across the field of vision is a distinctive sign of blood and/or pigment in the vitreous gel and may indicate a retinal detachment. This requires immediate medical attention. [link to www.webmd.com] |

It began with a slow darkening, and I thought maybe I was going to pass out. Then it changed to a flickering, and it was like someone turned the lights off and on. I began to think I was getting ready to have a stroke, or some other type of health crisis, so I just sat back waiting for whatever was to come. Then the WEIRD and also AMAZING experience happened. In my left eye I began to see beautiful moving breathing air. I could see it breathing in and out, swelling and shrinking rhythmically. (I know this sounds crazy!!! I never in my life believed in anything like this!) Think of the air above a fire, how you can see it sort of wave and ripple a little. It was like that when it began, but then seemed to explode into an amazing new dimension. It was crazy!!! Iteslly thought I was dying, or had already died, and was on my way to Heaven. I just let go of all my stresses and worries and enjoyed the show. Zigzags, waves, lights, all glowing and flowing together. Man, it was like being in two worlds at once. I could see the room I was sitting in, and this other place at the same time, in the same space. What the heck happened to me? I didn't even believe in this kind of experience, outside of maybe drug use, which I do not use ever. Nothing hurt. It lasted for about five minutes, it moved more and more to the left... then it was gone. Whoa!!! Quoting: CandyCigarettes Just wanted to share because it was a crazy amazing experience. I have no idea why this happened. I hope it happens again though. might of been silent migraine [link to www.medhelp.org] |
