One story in particular may or may not be true, but here it is. An old Christian lady was able to escape from the rising waters and managed to get onto the top of a neighbor’s roof while she waited for a rescue. She prayed and prayed for God to send her a sign. This was Monday at about noon, August, 2005. All through the night she prayed, then at about 2 pm on Tuesday a rescue boat appeared, the rescuers tried to get the lady to get into the boat so they could take her to safety. She refused, saying she was waiting on someone else. At 6 Pm on Tuesday, a 2nd rescue boat approached and begged her to join them. She once again refused and returned to praying. On Wednesday at about 3 pm a 3rd rescue boat spotted her, and saw that she was very elderly and very frail, she looked so weak that they feared for her. They begged her to get into the boat, she adamantly refused, saying she was waiting on someone. On Thursday morning she was completely exhausted and slipped into sleep, rolled off the roof into the torrent of waiting water and drowned. When she arrived in heaven, she demanded of God, “I prayed for you to send me a message, and save me”. The Lord simply told her, what do you think those 3 rescue boats were. Moral of story. The message may be delivered by someone that you didn’t expect to deliver it. We all have the potential to be one of God’s messengers. Just because YOU don’t believe in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No !
