The reason for excessive snowflakism is people can't accept themselves as they are.

They are idolator of image, fake image of good, beauty or intelligence. Since the image they want other people to see is extremely important for their self esteem, they will go to far to cover up their weakness and ugliness or anything in them they feel insecure of. That's why there's plastic surgery, cosmetics, and every method of fakery or covering up to maintain their fake image. Thswe kind of pople in essence, lie to themselves.

Because of the need to maintain a facade, the risk of being exposed by a straight talker or a fact based person is too high. That's why as the defense mechanism, they use getting offended as a method to attack the messenger instead of looking inward at themselves. Hence the birth of snowflake.

No Snowflakism is not the monopoly of libtards. Plenty of 'woman bashing' threads from time to time talk about how sensitive (snowflaky) women can be. But snowflakery is not merely the monopoly of women. Plenty od insecure men are snowflake too.

Anyone who're insecure of being their own selves with all their weakness and ugliness, and need an image to covert up, are definitely gonna snowflake.

This is why I like to start a thread here now and then, because of EXCELLENT posters like yourself offering such insight amid all the dreck.

What you have outlined above explains the GASLIGHTING, the VIRTUE-SIGNALING and the VIRTUE-SHAMING that goes on in terms of their defense mechanisms -- which they've got down to an art-form.

All in that effort to maintain the fake facade that they are good, perfect, wonderful MORAL people (it's odd the Liberal obsession with morality, while they turn a blind eye to things like Sharia Law -- their ethics are almost schitzo in nature because there is no foundation, just picking and choosing the latest ethical fad to project moralism).

These psychological methods are very, very powerful, and to resist them requires great internal fortitude.

So you are butthurt about people being butthurt? Sometimes I look at these threads and swear 50% of the populace has ~50 IQ.

So you are butthurt because someone posted a thread about how they don't like butthurt and they appear to be butthurt over other people's butthurt?

Well I for one can say I'm butthurt that OP is butthurt that some butthurt poster posted in OPs thread that he/she is butthurt about OP being butthurt about how butthurt the world is getting.

You're making it way too complicated, and being much too polite. They are a growing group of lazy pussies who want to foist off all of their failure on other people. The flakes think things are bad now, just wait until mommy and daddy are gone. Then, there will be no sympathy from anyone else.
