Why are the elite generally disgusted/scared/repelled by Cats?

Things I know about cats that could be invloved:

1. Cats can carry some prasites, notably Toxoplasmosis. If you get this disease in Early Childhood it can cause Schizophrenia, MS, and ALS.
(proof for my claim). But even still if you were an elite you could easily get a purebreed cat with no infection and give it the proper dewormers and vaccines and have a near 0 risk of any infection.

2. Cats vison tends toward the ultraviolent end of the spectrum.
3. Cats have an amazing sense of smell.
4. Cats can hear really high pitch sounds.

My question is, it seems that the elite hate cats. What do you think the reason is? Cats know whats up.
