As reports keep coming in, it's much worse than that. It was a 5 centimeter (2 inch) hematoma taken through a craniotomy. Meaning they had to go into his brain through his skull to remove it.

This is no minor surgery people. Perhaps this "clot/growth" explains Senator McCain's confusion while questioning James Comey.
