Is it possible to see orbs with the naked eye?

My eye is naked and I don;t see a damned thing.

You might be catching one occasionally, hippie. I had a infrared device in the right spectrum that picked them up nicely but I broke the thing and they have been taken off the market rather quickly. They don't show up nearly as well, if at all, with the night vison spectrum detected with the popular NV camcorders and such. I still pick them up occasionally with traditional NV and yes, sometimes with the naked eye for very brief glimpses.

Thanks. Had no idea if it was possible. I've always been slightly attuned to the spiritual (though to what level, aside from knowing they're there, I have no idea). I always see them around a friend of mine's porch. Anyway, thanks again for the info.

If they're seen out of the corner of your eye, then they probably are orbs because the corner of your eye is more susceptible to seeing strange things that you don't see straight on.

Example:


Look up at the starry night sky, straight on.


Then look up out of the corner of your eye. More stars and such that you don't see when you're looking straight on will appear.

They actually tend to move clear across my field of vision, starting in the corner of my eye and moving to the other corner. Also, the other night, had a weird sensation of lights moving over my eyes while I was trying to sleep. My eyes were closed, and whatever it was was bright enough that, through my eyelids, I actually felt my pupils adjust.

maybe you are looking at tiny dust particles on your eyeball.

Thanks doc, and great link. However, what I see aren't shadows but actual balls of light. Is it possible for floaters to have light reflected off them in low light areas?

I have seen orbs with my eyes, in cemeteries and such. Very quickly, though...almost fleeting.

It's completely different, though. I have seen both, and there is a marked difference.

I'll have to say. I see spots in front of my eyes occasionally. Mostly shadows. I also see the occasional aura if it's strong enough. And this is something completely different.

Yes you can see orbs with your eyes, and you can learn to see them in all light conditions as well. I used to see only white orbs, but now see various colors such as blue, gold and black on occasion. And no, what I am seeing are NOT floaters and are not an eye problem as I did have this checked out to be sure. In addition, the same orb will often be seen by more than one person sitting in a room together.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes, And saw floaters for a few months,But not any Orbs,It did cure color blindness tho.The Doctors could not understand why?

I have been able to see and feel an epectromagnetic force between my hands and out the finger tips ,Before the Cataract operation,Also the bottoms of my feet feel like they are burning,Yet feel cold to the touch.The Tynonol Doctors have no answers for this.
I Set off alarms at airports ,and I can project a light energy from my fingertips,I am a walking dynomo.I fear the Tynonol Doctors will put me away,As I am against their whole paradigm.

I don't think I have ever seen orbs, I see what seem to be very samll shadowy shapes that scurry about on the ground, usually out of the corner of my eye, they don't float they actualy seem to scamper, as if they know I have seen them and are now trying to hide

I have seen a basketball sized orb within 3ft of me with naked eye. Green-blue in colour and moved away very fast as soon as I directed my attention towards it.

This was after a meditation session that lasted around 2hrs.

I saw three orange balls while ca. 15 minutes in forest, Internet is full of information about...., some sites with fotos, some sites with words and pics

~paranormal websights mention using ELF meters to detect 'stuff' like orbs, etc. not sure if this what you mean-my dad and i saw 2 small white balls of lights about a foot off the ground by us, just dance around. we both looked at each other so i know we both we seeing them got a good feeling too. never happened since. it was outside in a field. use discernment with all 'this stuff' - trust your gut. good luck~

Older digital cameras had CCD's that regularly captured orbs in the right conditions (usually when using flash) - however the manufacturers pretty much fixed the later generation CCD's so the users didn't get too freaked out by ruined photos.

Thanks all, this has been super informative. I was thinking I might be visiting my local optometrist to see about getting this fixed. Granted, I'm still gonna get the ol' peepers checked out, make sure I don't have eye cancer or anything, but this has put my mind slightly more at ease.

what i saw outside my back porch window, in the country was indeed a pink orb floating around the yard. sort of a frolic play or happy movement, it lasted about 20 seconds before it disapeared toward the security light in the opposite end of the yard. there is no other explaination for it. ive lived here for 15 years.

Yes. I saw a black orb come flying through a wall once.

At the time, I had never heard of any such thing, but it was visible just the same.

It was no trick of photography - the damn thing hit my leg
and as you can imagine, I was astonished.
It took years to find out "the thing that came through the wall" actually had a name.

My very first sighting was in daylight with the naked eye in oct 1997.
Light orb. Just like the ones that have photographed using infrared.
I've since seen many light ships. I also saw a red orb from my backyard last year, but it was dark out.
It's obvious to me that these things are all around, probably all the time, and reveal themselves to whomever they choose to at their own will.
I also believe that they can watch us however they want, doesn't matter if you're behind closed doors or not, I believe they have amazingly advanced technology that most cant possibly even imagine.

I've gone out many times to sky watch and yet I see nothing. Then sometimes when you don't expect to, you get to see them.
They communicate with telepathy. They told me we/I were being watched!

so if you check out a superb rack through the corner of your eye there will be more boobies?
