Not only should the cop that planted evidence go to jail, those that witnessed it should be fired. At least. Anyone in on the coverup or those who kept silent should follow this scum out the door.

Being a cop is hard enough without this kind of lawlessness besmirching the many good cops. If I had my way the cop/perp would spend time in prison equivalent to the time his victims have spent. He likely would never get out.
