Well, they certainly are up early! One would think that they might do something USEFUL with their lives (like maybe make coffee for the REST of us!) instead of leaving their sewage-encrusted one-stars, but oh well!

Morning Eggcellent, how's your garden growing this year?

I think that I was a bit gun-shy after last year, so I didn't really plan for a big garden. I did plant peas, which were literally washed away before they ever even sprouted, and by the time I figured out that they were never going to come up and not just protesting our cold and rainy Oregon Spring it was too late to plant more. So I now have tomatoes: 3 Roma, 1 "Sweet 100" cherry tomato, a "mystery" tomato from Mother's Day at my church which is turning out to be a golden colored cherry tomato, and a poor little tomato marked "Roma" which I rescued from a box by the road that had a sign "Free Veggies" attached to it. I kept driving by it because it wasn't at a place where I'd normally be slowing down to stop, and we had day after day with no rain, so by the time I actually got stopped there was just this one poor little droopy plant in a rock-hard bit of soil. So I brought it home, dug some dirt from the chicken yard and put it into a big pot, soaked the little plantie overnight in water, and planted it. It's doing great, has almost caught up with the ones I planted a couple of weeks earlier!
