You can't even defend yourself if you are physically attacked at school anymore. You have to either lay there and take it, or be expelled. At least in our school district that is the policy. Absolutely ridiculous. A good reality check would do wonders for these bullies. I tell my kids I don't care what the rule says you fight back. And if there's a problem after that I'll handle it. Let some stupid cunt bitch get butthurt my kid fought back. Better hope she knows how to throw a good punch, because the real problem is these "parents" were never taught anything either. I'm more than happy to educate them.
