They have around 50 missile launching ships, mostly soviet made OSA class and also coastal launchers in unknown amounts.

The Nork navy is only a moderate threat and that being their subs. Their surface fleet would be some of the easiest targets to take out. One of their subs might get lucky and stumble in front of a US ship. The idea of their subs hunting the US navy is a joke. Luck would be all they'd have.

Land based missiles represent a clear threat. That is why we would see days worth of cruise missile and land based air strikes before a US carrier would come within striking range. The admirals would want to see an 80-90% threat reduction before risking the flattops.
