You're completely wrong, of course. James Madison said: "that as they [aliens], owe, on the one hand, a temporary obedience, they are entitled, in return, to their [constitutional] protection and advantage."

More recently, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Zadvydas v. Davis (2001) that "due process" of the 14th Amendment applies to all aliens in the United States whose presence maybe or is "unlawful, involuntary or transitory." But it was really settled long before in the late 19th century cases of Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886) and Wong Win v. United States (1896).

Listen, Monsanto, you traitorous piece of trash. You took Jefferson's quote completely out of context. AND...no liberal court can over-rule either the Constitution, Common Law or common sense. A Constitution is put in place FOR A COUNTRY AND ITS OWN CITIZENS. Only a total moron would argue it applies to non-citizens.

You left out the first half of Jefferson's quote, and you did so to INTENTIONALLY DECEIVE. He said..."Aliens are no more parties to the laws than they are parties to the Constitution; yet it will not be disputed that...(and the append your quote, BUT LEAVE BACK OUT THE BOGUS WORDS YOU ADDED.) Clearly, he is saying they are NOT covered by the Constitution, but should be treated humanely...but you already knew that.

Zadvydas v. Davis is also widely recognized by Constitutional lawyers as being a gross overstep, and they will soon be over-ruled now that a saner court is in session:

"The dissenters also noted that the dangerousness of the alien and the risks he or she poses to society “do not diminish just because the alien cannot be deported within some foreseeable time.”21 Clearly, the dangerousness of an alien and the decision about whether to release him or her is a political question — a question that should be left up to politically accountable actors who can be taken to task for making a faulty decision. By creating an arbitrary deadline for release, the ruling in Zadvydas arguably eliminates the type of accountability that can be corrected through elections: If a dangerous alien is released as a result of Zadvydas, executive branch officers can shrug their shoulders and point to the judiciary’s demands, while lower court judges can shrug their shoulders noting that they have to abide by the Supreme Court’s ruling."

You and your kind are on a very slippery slope, Monsanto. If you people keep paying more attention (and more political capital) to non-Americans than you do Americans, you and your kind will be finished off... politically, if not worse.

Enough is enough, and the vast majority of Americans know it. You are stretching their good will to the breaking point, and it won't be pretty when/if it breaks.
