Well, that was certainly something worth seeing. That's an impressive flotilla of Amphibs on the move towards the DPRK. I was part of the 15th MEU BLT 2/9 back in the 90's. A MEU aka Marine Expeditionary Unit is small, but it packs a punch at 2200 to 2500 Marines with Sailors from the Gator Fleet hauling us behind a Carrier Strike Group. Wherever a Carrier Strike Group is sailing, a MEU is not far behind.

None of this is classified information so for anyone wanting to argue it, relax. This is strictly informational for those that do not understand what it is they're seeing on that vid.

That was at least two or three Amphibious Strike Groups in that vid. No one is seeing the Carrier Strike Groups and the Silent Service, the latter is obvious. If those groups represent the combined powers of USN assets from both the West Coast or PacNorWest, Japan, and ROK, imagine what's waiting at the docks that ready to deploy. Mind you all, Japan has two USN bases and one USMC base. That's a lot of firepower and manpower ready to go right out of the gate. The nearest support outside of that sphere of operations would be the ANZACs with the USMC base in the Northern Territory. Timing is everything. Travel time is hellish when dealing with conventional ships. The fleet vessels that can haul ass without issues are the nuclear powered ones. Aside from the USA/USAF logistical support to provide Airborne units into the fray, what you see is what you get. Couple that with Operational Security (OPSEC) and the big picture in terms of viable assets being deployed gets murky. No sense in giving the enemy an edge in knowing who's coming to the playground.

Large Amphibious Assets haven't been utilized since WWII Operation Overlord. The 50's Plan-100-B Operation Chromite - Incheon, Korea landing. The 90's, Operation Desert Shield/Storm. The level of security for such undertakings would be enormous and ruthless. So, this vid you're all seeing is simply that, what you see is what you get. Lives are riding on the line because the battle is about to go down. It's not a matter of if, but when. That's the reality of the situation.

The monies and time spent on planning, logistics, transporting, etc... It's all valid. The DPRK knows it. The ROK knows it. The PRC knows it. The R.F. knows it. The J.R. knows it. Everyone knows it. Yet, no one knows the precise time. Having been a part of two such amphibious ops in real-world tactical engagements, I can only imagine what the Marines, SEALs, and Gator Sailors are feeling because they know it's different this time. No second division level players to face, but top of the line uniformed hardliners like themselves. Only the North Koreans know what they must be feeling with the knowledge that hell is coming their way.

Theater level nukes will more than likely be in play as a result both on land and in sea. So, think about that. Pray for all our men and women in uniform on this one as well as the civilians because the shit's about to get surreal on a level no one has seen before since the First Korean War.
