I was actually looking for another clip from the spiderman cartoon -- the one that showed the black goo/symbiote coming to Earth on the space shuttle.

Thanks for the ever insightful post Kaboom! Some of us must have faulty symbiotes as we naturally reject this system/matrix even from a young age while others seem perfectly content with it. It's easy to become cynical and start despising humanity, but that's really just hating the victim isn't it. I'm glad you haven't given up trying to help others see.

You made me think about another hint GOG 2 dropped. They said the tentacle monster is "multi-dimensional". They mentioned that without any plot purpose to saying it as well. That line could have been easily left out. Also, I just checked and the concept artist who designed that monster related it to the final monster form from the Slither movie - more parasitic symbiote connections.
