No NEW inventions or ideas for decades??

Hi all. A lot of folks have expressed how genius Tesla was, and for that matter Thomas Edison.
But have you ever thought that because of AC and DC, we have been stuck in a rut for a hundred years?
You talk about nothing new invented, but just about everything we have stems from being either AC or DC powered. The tools to design and discover are also AC/DC powered.
So there will be limits within that confined technology, including how we dream up, test and make new things, becaue it has to function within that confined tech'.
The truly new ideas I think will need to be based outside that tech, and may be things within the organic world of science, and natural occurances, rather than hard tech.
But EVERYTHING we're being programmed to do and want, is so far removed from that - deliberately, as it is far less easy to dominate and control.

Power was needed to run factories that manufactured cars, planes, etc. Claiming that A/C stopped other power sources from being developed is like saying that gasoline stopped steam engines. Actually, the best power source prevailed. It is possible that A/C power is the best possible power source and is why it has never been surpassed. Or, a brain more powerful than Teslas has not been born yet to conceive and achieve it.
