Iceland web servers shut down by the U.S. and Interpol?
I just received the following message, it came in 12 minutes ago:

WARNING JIM! Iceland servers are about to be shut down. Make alternative arrangements asap! I work for independent web hosting here, we host over a million sites. Interpol with US just raided us and shut us down.

It was starting to cost too much to heat up the info coming across the cables from Iceland, so instead of absorbing those costs, they just decided to shut it down.

most people do not know that Iceland has the most privacy-oriented internet laws on the planet, and that's why so many servers are located there

The "darkweb" isn't "hosted" anywhere in particular. That isn't how the web works. It's in the name. As a whole the "internet" consists of interconnected collections of networks. A huge assed collection nonetheless. :)
