I have worked in the Combat Information Center of a ship for most of my naval career (I'm a veteran now), and I don't see how this has happened AGAIN. In CIC, my job and the job of everyone else in there is to watch HUGE screens depicting the radar/satellite placement of all merchant/friendly/foe vessels for MILES out. Unless, like Michael Trigboff said, the ship's sensory radars are being hacked/tricked, I do not see how this can have happened yet again. A sad and senseless tragedy.
