We have our own bishops and priests separate from the Roman Catholics. Our churches are emptying out quickly, with a lot of people either going regular Orthodox, or going Evangelical Christian. that's a good thing |

There was a big split in the Byzantine Catholic Church almost 100 years ago. Byzantine priests were allowed to marry back then, but Roman Catholic priests were not.The Roman Catholic priests here in the USA threw a fit, and went to the pope and complained. So, the pope back then issued an order that Byzantine Catholic priests in the USA could not marry. But, the Byzantine Catholic priests in the rest of the world could. That order still stands, but there is a way around it. They can go to another country and get married and ordained, and then come back here to the USA. But as a result of the pope's order, the Byzantine Church was split in 2, with half going to Orthodox. I see a split coming again. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

Pretty much all refugees are brought in and placed by the Catholic Church with government funds. And don't think the Church is breaking even on this deal. Refugees/immigrants are a HUGE source of revenue for the Church. |
