Absolutely correct.
Sounds more like Jet or Silverchair with a young Plant-sounding singer. Until they put out a Rain Song or Kashmir replete with keyboards or even some Page-style acoustic pieces (Babe I'm gonna leave you, Stairway, Bron Y Aur, etc) I'm not sold whatsoever.

Good band for newer music but not even close to Led Zepp.

Aye. Somebody posted this group a few weeks ago and I was equally blown away.

They sound good, but they are just a knock-off/homage band.
Hopefully they will branch out and explore their own sound on future recordings.

I'm already hearing unique elements in their music, however, LZ isn't making new music. I see nothing wrong in being a band whose motif is "If Zeppelin circa 1973 were still recording today..." as long as they deliver.

Two things.

I see no point in a band that basically is aiming to sound exactly like Led Zeppelin really existing. ALOT of bands have elements of Zep, but these guys are basically rewriting Zep songs and trying to be them....which is lame. Zep ripped off blues guys but they did their own thing with it.

And secondly, this guy has a high voice but he sounds more like a chipmunk in parts than Plant. His voice is annoying, whereas Plant's was incredible.

My honest two cents. Not a bad band, they just need to find their own thing and the singer needs to try and be himself, not Plant.

Sound great and look pretty young, so lots of time to grow. I give them a thumbs up!

Zeppelin had their own sound, they sounded like no one else. A band can't rip off their own song....all popular bands have similar sounding material, it is their identity as a band.

This band has taken a Zeppelin sounding riff, played it through a Zeppelin sounding tone, arranged it like Zeppelin song, and the singer is obviously trying to sound like early Plant. They are proficient enough at it, but why would a band want to sound almost exactly like another band??? THe whole point of original music is to have your own thing.

People crave a Zeppelin sound without having to hear GD "Over the Hills and Far away" for the 1000000000000000 time.

I think there's room for it. I think it's great. As these legendary bands die off it's awesome that a new gen is picking up the torch and carrying it forward.

Now to see what direction they grow in, that's the real meat-and-bones.
