It's tough to listen and imbibe a truth that totally smashes ones belief system. For them to even consider another point of view requires critical thinking skills to overcome the brainwashing they've been subjected to through schooling and media of all types for the past 50 years. For these progressive/lib's, they cannot conceive that they have been socially engineered to become what they are and have been programed to enable the destruction of this county and western civilization.
People do that which makes them feel good and these leftist have to much emotional energy invested in this communist world vision to admit they have no ability for self awareness or to recognize they've been had. The ego forbids it.

I admit I didn't realize just how much of a pile of steaming sleazebags people like Mitt Romney were. John McCain, Paul Ryan too.

Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher in the past were good, but I admit to having qualms about them when the former got caught up in Irangate (because he tapped into his inner liberalism by feeling sorry for families of US hostages) and when the latter got caught up in poll taxes.

George Bush I and II, including "read my lips, no new taxes" and "Islam is a religion of peace" (said on the day after 9-11), makes me realize they were default choices of mine over the past 20 years.
