Fewer than two-dozen protesters turn out

Fewer than two-dozen demonstrators have arrived for a white separatist rally at the Fort Sanders Confederate memorial.

Organizer Tom Pierce walked up the hill at 1 p.m. carrying a sign reading, "Stand Against Leftist Hate" to catcalls, hisses and boos from hundreds of counter-protesters on the opposite side of 17th St.

"Most of them was bused in here," Pierce said. "I don't even know what half of these signs are meaning. I think they're probably all Marxists."

The headline labels them supremacist (as in racist). I wonder if the hoard are paid as much here as in Virginia.
