That motherfucker is no good. Quoting: last one Why is he no good? Because he teaches the "prosperity gospel," the false idea that all you have to do is give a certain percentage of your income and God is going to magically make you healthy and wealthy beyond your wildest dreams. It's complete BS and outer darkness is reserved for false teachers like him. That is simply your deluded and angry interpretation of what is actually said. Christianity teaches the importance of helping others and giving to charity. What positive things does atheism teach - because all I see are angry, stingy atheists who don't have much in the way of charitable organizations of their own. Which is pretty much the historical record of atheism thru thousands of years. Not much contribution as a group. Occasional contribution via parasitic existence in a larger theist community. |

How ridiculous! -Armchair General- "No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation." -General of the Army Douglas MacArthur "I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major General and during that period, I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for big business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism." -Major General Smedley D. Butler, USMC - 1933 Pronouns: Sir/General/That Bastard |

Then, when you do donate - how about you multiply it by four just to keep up? [link to abcnews.go.com] Finally, the single biggest predictor of whether someone will be charitable is their religious participation. Religious people are more likely to give to charity, and when they give, they give more money: four times as much. And Arthur Brooks told me that giving goes beyond their own religious organization: "Actually, the truth is that they're giving to more than their churches," he says. "The religious Americans are more likely to give to every kind of cause and charity, including explicitly non-religious charities." And almost all of the people who gave to our bell ringers in San Francisco and Sioux Falls said they were religious or spiritual. |

The church manager has said they are acting as a distribution center for those displaced. Not defending the church but this story isn't cut and dry. The church posted pics of the floodwaters around and through the building so it's not all bs. However it seems the church didn't really want to take refugees and now claim they have always been open but nobody came there. |

I would close my door to any bitches like you who demand my help. Fuck you. Rot in hell. IMPOSING OBLIGATION TO HELP IS LIBTARDISM!!! You are obliged to help abortionists with your tax, that's how libtards oppress freedom of choice with forced obligation without your consent. Do you fucktards demanding Osteen help, would accept Libtards imposing an obligation to house rapefugees in the name of charity or compassion? Yes, Christian should be charitable, but not to cater to every demand or whim. Fix your attitude first if you want any help, fuckers. |
