Today, bands just make some shitty music video and put it in their YouTube channel.

But I remember the time when new bands and underground bands used to record "demo tapes".


Just call me old.

some bands never recorded "real" albums, only demo tapes...

I wonder if many demo tapes of those old forgotten bands are available on YouTube now...

Demos are a bit of a musical fetish of mine...especially the ones that never made it to the official releases or differ greatly.

They're great snapshots of a song's evolution and a deeper peek into the band's process.

Demos are a bit of a musical fetish of mine...especially the ones that never made it to the official releases or differ greatly.

They're great snapshots of a song's evolution and a deeper peek into the band's process.
