When New York's Governor Cuomo (Democrat) bragged that he was sending help to Texas, I thought it was a little strange since Atlantic hurricanes are common for the next few months. I would think that Midwest or western states would help Texas out, but New York?

This. Euro which some say was the most accurate for Harvey has it entering the Gulf next week. Right now it is like throwing a dart at a map to get the right path. Just looked at a site that said even their projections were not accurate because they are underestimating its strength. Gone from a 2 to a 3 today alone. Too early to tell.

Most Euro models have it going into the gulf. That's where the models ends. This could be devastating to LA or TX. FL keys are gonna get hammered. This storm is fucking massive. I'll have to pull up the model of Harvey Vs imma so u can see the size. It's about 3-5 times the size.

The bottom line is this. It's way to far out for anyone to say with certainty. That's why everyone needs to prepare for the worst. This storm could hit from Texas all the way to Maine. Hopefully it goes out to sea but that looks unlikely.
