I was driving through South Carolina about 8, 9 weeks ago, very near Clemson. I had to stop for gas. I was totally decked out in Crimson and my truck has Tide sticker in the back window. I went in to pay and the cashier (jokingly) said I'd have to pay double. I said "I never knew they taught math in South Carolina?". He says, "I went to Auburn, War damn Eagle!". An old man in line behind me says, "you both need to get the fuck out of here." I laughed so hard.

Very interested in putting some coin on Florida Atlantic today. Pays very nicely, and I think Kiffen can make them a decent program. Navy has QB issues.

Last year, Jalen Hurts was a freshman and led the Tide to the National Title game. He threw for 2780 yards with 23 TDs and nine INTs and also ran for 954 yards and 13 TDs and will be even better this year. The Tide also have Damien Harris back after he ran for 1037 yards a year ago, along with Bo Scarbrough, who ran for 812 yards and 11 TDs. The Tide also has the 5th best receiver corps in the nation, which is led by Calvin Ridley (769 yds, seven TDs) and they have the 2nd best OL in the nation. Alabama ranked 12th in rushing last year, 87th in passing, 34th in total offense and 12th in scoring, putting up 38.8 ppg. They could top those numbers this year. The Tide are a prime contender to win it all this year.
