I personally think they may be blackmailing him.. you don't know much about Trump if you don't know the guy's name and FACE. Absolutely...Schiller began working for Trump as Director of Security in 2004. This is a major resignation of a long time Trump loyalist. Here’s something whose timing is either a remarkable coincidence, or a sign that Donald Trump’s firing of James Comey was even more suspicious than previously known. Donald Trump hired his longtime personal bodyguard Keith Schiller to a White House security position, then used him to personally deliver the news to James Comey’s office that he’d been fired. Of course Comey wasn’t in his office, and was instead across the country in California that day, and Trump probably knew that. The move always stuck out as suspicious: why would anyone, even someone as whacked out as Trump, send his own bodyguard to deliver a firing letter to an FBI Director who wasn’t even there? This does not mean that Keith Schiller did anything wrong or illegal himself. It’s possible that he’s seen the new revelation about the two firing letters, and he’s simply concluded that it’s too messy for him to want to remain in that role, or perhaps he’s now feeling like Trump used him. |

Trump sent Schiller to deliver what we now know to have been the second version of the letter, written by acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, which documented all of Comey’s supposedly fire-able offenses. This resignation really is incredible news, since Schiller is Tump's more loyal, longest serving and most trusted assistance. You can bet there is a serious back story to this one. Schiller knows there’s more to come. He took today’s NYT story as a sign that the real bombshell regarding the two letters is about to drop. He surely knows that resigning won’t get him off any legal hook as a potential suspect or witness. Seemingly, his only motive for resigning is to get away from Trump before the other shoe drops. Is Schiller the one who gave Trump’s first letter to Robert Mueller? |

Schiller has worked for Donald Trump for 15 years and is his closest and most trusted staffer. There's been a lot of WH staff fired or resigned, but this one is puzzling. Something is about to happen. Or maybe Schiller has been an FBI mole all along and he is getting out for his own safety before a major Mueller shoe drops. Might even want to say... ...and so it begins. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73127174 Unfortunately for President Trump, Schiller is one of his long-time loyalists, a crossover from Trump’s past business career to his political present. Previously, Schiller was on the payroll of Trump’s KS Global Group, which is in charge of his security and campaign details. Donald Trump would do well to pray in anticipation of some surprised that Mueller has for him, now that Trump's long time Director of Security just quit. Mueller now has Trump’s first, unsent letter. Whatever is in it, it must be so ugly that the guy who delivered the second letter is immediately resigning from the White House, and that guy is Keith Schiller. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73365312 Either we’re looking at one of the most remarkable coincidences of the entire Trump era, or Keith Schiller has resigned in response to the news that Mueller has both letters. Is Schiller the one who gave Trump’s first letter to Robert Mueller? In my simple understanding, the first letter shouldn't matter. It wasn't used. He properly sought legal advice from the right place and was advised that it should not be used. But there were plenty of other reasons that could be used, and were. Rosenstein's letter is very convincing, and on its own it is far more than enough. It doesn't become invalid or suspicious because there were even more reasons that were not in that letter. |

Here's a very non-suspicious explanation. It's very normal to fire someone when they are out of the office. It's basically standard corporate practice, so they don't have access to destroy or alter things on the way out. Reince Priebus was fired the same way. And Trump doesn't give a clue when he's about to fire someone. I've seen this over and over in the corporate world, sometimes even against me. Since Trump knew he could not trust people at the FBI or didn't even know them, he sent someone he could trust to lock up the office, disable access to computer accounts, and otherwise secure Comey's work materials which are the property of the US government. Makes perfect sense. As to why Schiller quit now, I don't know and so I cannot rule out a connection such as you suspect. But aside from that, the firings seemed just normal and competently done. |

He surely knows that resigning won’t get him off any legal hook as a potential suspect or witness. Seemingly, his only motive for resigning is to get away from Trump before the other shoe drops. Is Schiller the one who gave Trump’s first letter to Robert Mueller? Hahahahahahahahahaha You've been watching WAYYYYYYY to much Maddow buddy Literally one of the most ridiculous conspiracies of the Left I've ever read It's not illegal to fire the director of the FBI who he himself admitted under oath was asked by the then acting attorney general to obstruct justice involving Hillary. Also not against the law to fire him after clearing Hillary BEFORE ANY INVESTIGATION WAS DONE. It's not illegal for his security officer to deliver a letter to the acting attorney general...are you insane!? do you not understand how President Trumps tweets are always so prophetic? It's because he allready knows the whole story...they always did. Why is Schiller resigning? And why now? Well for Trump's closest and most loyal aide of 13 years to suddenly resign, there are only a few explanations. Maybe Trump went on some unhinged, profanity laced rant at Schiller for some minor reason and Schiller just decided he couldn't take it any more, as has been the case with other Trump staffers. But more likely this has something to do with the discovery of the initial unedited Comey firing letter, written by Donald Trump and Stephen Miller, before it was edited by Rosenstein. That could be very damaging and if so, Schiller would want to get far away from Trump before he goes down. And regarding the revelation of that first letter: Ty Cobb, a White House lawyer, declined on Friday to discuss the letter or its contents. “To the extent the special prosecutor is interested in these matters, we will be fully transparent with him,” he said. |

This is a major resignation of a long time Trump loyalist. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73365312 Here’s something whose timing is either a remarkable coincidence, or a sign that Donald Trump’s firing of James Comey was even more suspicious than previously known. So after burning through a chief of staff, a chief strategist, a press secretary and three communications directors, Donald Trump could be losing his professional security muscle who has worked for him since 2005, and is resigning very abruptly? General Clark is flushing the turds one by one. Impressive. Nobody but Donald Trump could "flush" Trump's most trusted and loyal staff member, his personal body guard of 14 years, Keith Schiller. And he didn't...Schiller abruptly resigned. |
