Different idea on flat earth, thoughts?

I don't have any strong feelings toward FE one way or the other, but do think it should be a topic open to discussion, especially on a CT forum. Any thoughts on this?

Don't shoot the messenger. I'm not saying I agree.

Op, You Need to present a synopsis. Even twenty minutes of these crazies is too much. You can't see Polaris from the Southern Hemisphere, except from extremely elevated positions in the first 200 miles south of the equator. On the summit of Kilimanjaro Polaris can be seen about to disappear beyond the horizon, descend a few feet and it's invisible. At sea level it dips below the horizon at the equator. The flat Earthers cannot successfully address this, it simply proves that the world is spheroid.

Satellites have to be tasked, while they can be steered and manouvered into new orbits and new altitudes ---that takes time--it could take two or three days for a satellite to be re-programmed for a new mission. A Mach 3+ aircraft could take off, monitor an area on the other side of the globe, return to base and have its data processed before satellite controllers have had breakfast.

yeah, apologies, I actually don't understand it well enough myself to provide a summary, which is why I posted it here.. kinda hoping someone could put it in laymens terms.

Satellites are fake. Yes they can go up and chill for about a day or two but come crashing down pretty quickly. The only thing that works is planes which you can see high altitude which are drones but keep a steady position no need to wobble around.

Satellite comm is a farce, they use airwaves that bounce off the dome (atmosphere) but primarily use cables and towers to send and receive information.

these guys have the same idea but are still spherical. They actually have testable experiments and can prove a lot of it.
